Jedidiah
I am currently working in the IT field as an instructional technologist. I did not begin here, however. This is a second career, a rebirth as it were. My undergraduate education in in music education. I have worked in that field for the past six years in different capacities. I taught general music in two different elementary public school settings for a total of five years. I then taught private music lessons to adults and teens.
While doing this I have pursued and will be attaining a masters degree in instructional technology this coming December (2009). As of July 2009 I have been working at the College of Wooster as an intern in the Instructional Technology (IT) department. I am enjoying my experience and am learning a lot. I can honestly say that this is the first job that I have had in which I enjoy going to work. I enjoy learning about new technology, and working with faculty, staff and students.
